Making a difference, one child at a time.

Working With ISF

There are many people who make the work we do possible from donors, to staff, to volunteers. All play a vital role in allowing ISF to support the children we serve. In addition to helping the children, ISF is always striving to ensure that those involved get as much benefit as the children do.

ISF strives to build the capacity of our local staff and supports further education opportunities so that staff can improve themselves in a skill that will benefit them personally as well as benefiting ISF. In the last year we have trained one of our teachers in Special Needs Education so that she can assist children with learning difficulties. We have provided our Community Team with more skills through training with the Social Services of Cambodia. Our football, administrative and coaching staff have participated in a variety of trainings too and as a result our programmes have grown and improved.

We have also provided jobs and training to a variety of staff who were inexperienced in the field they are now working in for us but who showed a huge desire and commitment to help the children. All have proved to be very valuable members of our staff.

Our staff are not the only people to benefit from working with ISF. Over the last few years lots of volunteers have worked with us. Although they didn’t get paid all our volunteers have been rewarded in smiles and hugs far beyond what they have ever expected!! While we have benefited from the work of these volunteers and may need them again in the future, we do not currently have vacancies for volunteers.
