In January 2010 we were informed by the children in Grade 6 who we sponsor through Public School that they need to pass a sewing test at the end of July in order to pass the grade! The request was a timely one as Mrs Myra Markland (ISF Trustee) had raised $1,000 for us in December which we used to create a sewing room! We now have 6 sewing machine and classes take place daily. In addition to classes the sewing teacher is mending broken uniforms and making the traditional Khmer costumes for our dance classes!
