Our mission is to
- Develop football at grassroots levels through orphanages and underprivileged kids.
- Build team spirit, discipline and knowledge through the game of football.
Indochina Starfish Football Coaching started its first activity for children in Sunrise Children’s Village in Kandal province on April 1, 2006.
Within five weeks, another three programs started at SOS Children’s Village Phnom Penh, Pour Sourie d’Enfants (PSE) and Sunrise Children’s Village Siem Reap with a total of more than 250 boys and girls enjoyed football coaching and games 2-3 times weekly.
Due to the growing support from generous individuals, the activities of the Indochina Starfish Football programs in Cambodia expanded rapidly to other areas in Phnom Penh and provinces. Currently, there are a total number of 525 boys and girls being trained and organized to play regularly.
